Applications for Financial Awards are submitted to Sardis Secondary by the due date. 

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
Scholarships will be added throughout the year if donors come forward. If you start early, always check the date beside the checklist below to see if there is a more current version before submitting. This will ensure that you don’t miss any last minute additions!

In accordance with the Chilliwack School District’s Financial Awards Program, scholarships, bursaries and financial awards will be aligned with the District’s core values, promote the goals of the District and school, and shall be in the best interest of students.

Student eligibility for the local Chilliwack Awards Program:

  1. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (landed immigrant) at the time of registration in the school year for which the scholarship is awarded; or have begun the process of applying for Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status at the time of registration in the school year for which the scholarship is awarded.
  2. Currently reside in B.C.
  3. Meet the selection criteria for each scholarship.
  4. Students are eligible for the SD33 Financial Awards at their primary school of record. Students who are cross-enrolled with another school (Ex: Hairstylist Program, Trades Sampler etc.)are eligible for awards at their “home school” only. (“Home school” is referring to the school whose stage they will walk across at graduation)
